1. What is LivAhead?
LivAhead is a professional online counseling service provider. Our therapists are qualified and specialise in offering the best quality psychological therapy online via audio and/ or video calls.
2. Is LivAhead as good as face to face therapy?
LivAhead’s online counseling services offer an alternative to in-person counseling. Online therapy can be just as effective depending on the counselor’s skills and the underlying issue. It can be a better fit for people who are seeking convenience or choice, looking for affordable but qualified therapists, in remote locations, differently-abled and have difficulty with travel, dealing with severe anxiety and cannot leave home and many other situations. Our sessions are completely confidential and the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist is given utmost importance.
Both online and face to face therapy have been found to be effective in supporting clients with wide-ranging concerns, making a choice between them becomes highly subjective.
3. How long does it take for therapy to be effective?
The time required for therapy to be effective varies based on individual needs, resources, and goals. It requires as much commitment from the client as the therapist.
Some of you may begin to experience the benefits of psychological therapy within the first couple of sessions while for others this may happen over a longer timeframe.
4. Are LivAhead therapists qualified?
Our therapists are screened and selected after a careful examination of their qualifications, experience and skills.
Every therapist associated with LivAhead holds a master’s degree at a minimum and specializes in counseling psychology. They undergo regular training programmes and supervision to ensure that you receive the best quality of care.
5. How much does the service cost?
Each session lasting one hour costs Rs.1500.
6. How will I communicate with the therapists?
The communication with the therapist will be done over a phone call or video call (phone, tablet or laptop).
7. Do I need a special computer or Smartphone for the online session?
Any phone including a featurephone or fixed telephone line is sufficient for a phone call with the therapist. A WhatsApp video call can be done with a regular Smartphone. A normal laptop can be used for video call session as well, assuming broadband connectivity is available.
8. Is the information I share kept confidential?
The information shared with LivAhead is kept strictly confidential and we sign a confidentiality agreement when the customer signs up for the service.
9. Will my sessions with the therapist be recorded?
No, the sessions will not be recorded.
10. Will I be able to get the same therapist whom I spoke with in the earlier session?
Yes, the customer has the choice of choosing a therapist for every session. It is possible to choose the same therapist that has attended to a customer earlier.
11. How do I pay for the service?
LivAhead has tied up with Razorpay and it is possible to use debit / credit card, netbanking, PayTm, GooglePay etc. for making online payments.
